- Access to an outdoor tap is essential for our cleaning services. We may use a kitchen tap on occasion, but only if a secure connection can be established. Vortex Exterior Cleaning Services disclaims any responsibility for water leakage when utilising indoor fixtures. Additionally, we are not liable for any water damage that may occur if the hose must pass through the property to access a tap. We prefer not to run hoses through your property, and as the property owner, you assume responsibility in the event of a leak.
- Property owners must ensure that all doors and windows are sealed against water intrusion. The cleaning process generates significant water and potential waste. For block paving, any weeds, moss, and debris removed must be bagged and disposed of properly. It is essential to maintain unobstructed drainage to prevent water accumulation. Prior to cleaning, all drains and gullies should be cleared of leaves and silt. If you are unable to perform this task, we are happy to help for an additional fee of £15, which will be added to the invoice if we need to clear heavily blocked gullies or driveway grilles.
- High-pressure cleaning may not eliminate all heavy lichen spores, such as black spots, and can also leave behind significant algae staining. While we can address these issues, it necessitates a chemical treatment, which is included in our standard cleaning pricing. Furthermore, pressure washing is ineffective against rust stains and oil marks, requiring additional chemicals for potential removal; however, we cannot guarantee the removal of oil stains.
- Access is necessary for us to perform the cleaning. All areas must be free of garden furniture, pots, ornaments, barbecues, and cars, unless prior arrangements have been made. We will clean around any immovable objects. If needed, we are happy to help move heavy and bulky items.
- Water pressure may occasionally pose a challenge; we transport water but must ensure it remains replenished. Therefore, we kindly ask that you avoid using the washing machine or dishwasher during our visit, if possible.
- For online quotes that do not require a home visit, we depend on the information provided. If this information is inaccurate and we find discrepancies in measurements upon arrival, additional charges may apply.
- Payment is required upon job completion, either in cash or via BACS transfer.
- Deposits are necessary for additional services such as roof cleaning and sealing, and these funds will be used solely for material costs.
- It is important to inform your neighbours about our upcoming cleaning service to prevent any inconvenience. We will address any mess that may occur during the process.
- Weeds cannot be eliminated with a simple solution. While our cleaning process effectively removes them, they will reappear without consistent weed management. The timeframe for their return is uncertain and influenced by environmental conditions.
- While we strive to achieve a thorough clean, we cannot assure that all black spots and lichen will be entirely eliminated during the initial visit.
- Oil and rust stains require immediate attention; while we strive to minimise their appearance, complete removal cannot be guaranteed, and some residual marks may remain. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any stains before our visit, as we will implement additional treatments on oil stains to enhance the outcome.
- Our commitment ensures quality work; however, the duration of cleanliness will vary based on several factors, including foot traffic, weather conditions, and the proximity of trees.
